Future Projects
The Metchosin Equestrian Society leases the two riding rings, grandstand, concession and horse trailer parking from the District of Metchosin. Our volunteer members maintain the grounds and buildings surrounding the facility
on a seasonal basis.
MES members, in partnership with Metchosin District staff,
help to maintain our local trails with organized work parties
to keep them safe, clear and passable.

The Metchosin Equestrian Society would like to complete a number of projects in the future including:
- Grandstand upgrade
- Storage locker enhancement
- Painting - Grandstand and ring rails
- Manure bin - rebuild
- In gate - exterior apron - aggregate footing (mud prevention)
- Irrigation system
